The town of Shapleigh Maine was settled, not long after the Revolutionary War, by three different families in 1785. One of those families was non-other than Megan’s family lineage. In fact, Megan’s great, great, great, (I’m not sure how many greats to write) grandfather fought in the Revolutionary war and is buried here, in Shapleigh. And for Megan, a twenty year Air Force Veteran, to be able to obtain the shapleigh.com URL from a squatter, well it felt to many of us that shapleigh.com was finally ‘home’.
